The Jefferson City Plumbing Board of Review and Examiners met Wednesday, June 30,
2010, 5:00 p.m. in the Small Conference Room, John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320
E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by Rick Enke to approve the minutes of the May 26, 2010 meeting.
David Wright seconded. Motion passed.
Topics of Discussion:
a. Submit proof of time for Bill Johnson for acceptance of Plbg Business
License. Bill Johnson with Mr. Rooter submitted the needed information and
was accepted to obtain his Plumbing Business License.
b. Submit Public Service Announcement to be placed in newspaper. This was
submitted for review. Councilman Griffith suggested that Michelle Gleba be
asked about the possibility of getting a Yellow Page advertisement also.
Old Business:
a. Letter to non -licensed plumbing companies in the area. A letter was
mailed to non -licensed plumbing companies (possible violators) stating the
Jefferson City codes and requirements needed to do work in the city. The
response to this letter was discussed.
b. Code violation letters. The Board was notified of letters sent to Henry Doug
Durst for doing unlicensed plumbing work in Jefferson City and to George
Pate for hiring an unlicensed plumber.
C. 2x6 studs for walls for rough -ins. Kevin will look into more information
regarding this. Will talk to building inspector and building association.
New Business:
a. Submit applications for Pass/Fail Exam Applicants. Submitted.
b. Summons issued. A summons was issued to Larry Sherman for illegal work in
Jefferson City. Court date will be July 7, 2010.

c. Possibility of Issuing Code Book With Licenses. Will discuss at a later date
about issuing a code book when Business, Master, or Journeyman licenses are
issued.

A motion to adjourn was made by Jerry Rosslan and seconded by Rick Enke. Meeting
was adjourned.
