PLUMBING BOARD OF REVIEW & EXAMINERS

The Jefferson City Plumbing Board of Review and Examiners met Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 5:00
p.m. in the Small Conference Room, John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson
City, Missouri.
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by Jerry Rosslan to approve the minutes of the June 30, 2010 meeting. Mike Enke
seconded. Motion passed.
Topics of Discussion:
a. Application for Master License by Matthew Laughlin for the Plumbing Co. Matt Laughlin was
approved to acquire the Master License.
b. Pass/Fail Exam Applicants. These were submitted.
c. Future Exam Applications. These were submitted and approved.
d. Questions Submitted by Kevin Schulte, Plumbing Inspector. These were submitted.
Old Business:
There was discussion regarding the size of walls to be used where plumbing work was to be installed.
The Board requested that Kevin talk with Glen Miller, Building Inspector, about making it mandatory for
the building contractors to use a minimum of 2x6 studs for plumbing rough -ins.
New Business:
Larry Burnett submitted an application for a Master License. This was approved by the Board.
There was discussion on making definite steps for obtaining a plumbing license. This will be discussed
and finalized at a later date.
Adjournment:
A motion to adjourn was made by Jerry Rosslan and seconded by David Wright. Meeting adjourned.
