Schulte MEMBERS ABSENT: David Wright STAFF LIAISON: Ron Davenport VISITORS: Greg & James Jr Webster, Webster Plumbing, Applicants The Jefferson City Plumbing Board of Review and Examiners met Tuesday, July 31, 2012, 5:00 p.m. in the Small Conference Room, John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Mike Engelbrecht to approve the minutes of the February 15, 2012 meeting. Gary Michel seconded. Motion passed. Topics to Discuss a. Submit Information Regarding Applicants for Plumbing Business License. 1. Webster Plumbing information was submitted. Discussion by the Plumbing Board revealed minimum time proven for taking the Master Exam according to the Jefferson City Plumbing Ordinance 109.2.5 was not met. Therefore, the request was denied. Alternative suggestion to Webster Plumbing was to hire a Jefferson City Master plumber for permitted job. 2. Austin Tipton was denied due to lack of proven time unless Columbia can give us proof of 12,000 hours with Columbia Business License and Master License. 3. Jerry Hall needs to send documentation from Columbia of Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master time. Russell Duker's exam score is needed plus proof of 12,000 hours in business in Columbia. b. Submit Applicants for Journeyman License — These were submitted. c. Submit Passing Applicants Exam — These were submitted. Old Business a. Re -discuss License Requirements. The Plumbing Board requested that Kevin Schulte modify the application for acceptance for Master or Business License and resubmit to Board for approval. b. Motion was made to require 2 code changes maximum for licenses and contractor licenses to be accepted for a reciprocal license.
