Persons attending were as follows: Name 6/23 Member Ray Bledsoe X Member Donald Cline X Member George Minze X Member Curtis Creagh X Member Judith Dupuis X Member Chris Ricks X Member Kyle Ament X Chief Roger Schroeder X Attorney Hilpert X Lieutenant Derek Heislen X Staff Kay Stueffer X Attendants 11 The board deferred approving minutes for the May 12, 2011 meeting until July meeting; the minutes had only been given recently for recording. There was no old business. For new business, we solicited names to proctor the upcoming Communications Operator Testing that will be held on Wed, July 6, 201 at 6pm. Board members that volunteered for this service are Kyle Ament and Don Cline. (It was noted that while other area police departments are having some difficulty, Jefferson City seems to be doing okay in attracting applicants wanting to take the test.) A motion was made and seconded to go into closed session. The board went into closed session pursuant to Sec. 610.021 to discuss personnel matters. A Roll Call was taken. Lt. Heislen, who remained in the room, shared the results of the Police Officer Testing with the board. The tests results reflected 45 persons took the written test, of which 31 passed and 14 failed. However, 2 of the persons that passed failed to finish the required mile-run. For the test, the average passing rate was computed as 83%. The Board came out of closed session at 12:34pm The next meeting date was set to be July 14, 2011. No other business was discussed and the meeting was adjourned at 12:35pm Respectfully, Curtis E.
