AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT-
SCHOOR DEPALMA ENGINEERING
WI~RKAS, the Borough of Certeret is in need of specialized
professional engineering and planning services with regard to the desisnation and
establishment of a potential waterfront redevelopment area; and
WuI~.REAS, the en~ineoring firm of Schoor DePalmn, Justin Corporate
Center, 200 State Highway Nine, P.O. Box 900, Manaiapan, NJ 07726, has
submitted a prolx~al to provide said services; and
WFII~.REAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal and
desire to authorize, under the scope of services outlined in the above described
proposal fi.om $choor DePalma in the amount of $11,000.00; and
WNRRF.~S, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or
will be available for said purpose.
NOW, TI~RF, I~RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ma,,or and Council
of the Boroush of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the proposal, attached hereto and made a part hereof; fi'om
Schoor Del)alma, on~ineers and design professionals, to prepare a
desi~ation and establishment of 'a potential waterfront
redevelopment area in the amount of $11,000.00 is hereby
approved.
2. That this award is made as a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-2(6) and shall be advertised as
required by law.
3. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Borou~h's finance depamnent and to Schoor DePalma.
