AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
APPRAISAL CONSULTANTS CORP.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of expert appraisal services with
regard to pending tax appeal matters and real property valuations within the
Borough; and
WHEREAS, Jon Brody of Appraisal Consultants Corp., 293 Eisenhower
Parkway, Suite 200, Livingston, NJ 07039 possesses the requisite experience and
expertise to provide said appraisal services; and
WHEREAS, Jon Brody has submitted an initial proposal to perform the above
services at an hourly rate of $125.00, for a total cost, not to exceed $7,500.00;
and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for the same.
NOW, THEREFORE r,~ D by the Mayor and Council of the
