ORDINANCE NO. / 5 '9
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING THE NAME OF
FROG HOLLOW ROAD, IN THE 2600 BLOCK, TO TREE VALLEY LANE.
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City to provide a rational system of street names and
addresses, within the City; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 25 of the Code of the City of Jefferson, a notice of
street name change was published in the Jefferson City News Tribune; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council held public hearings on
the name change as provided in Chapter 25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2600 Block of Frog Hollow Road, beginning at West Edgewood Drive
and terminating at Wears Creek, is hereby renamed to Tree Valley Lane.
Section 2. Affected property owners and entities shall be notified of the change.
Section 3. Upon passage and approval of this ordinance, a notice shall be published in a
newspaper of general circulation in the city at least once per week for four (4) consecutive
weeks.
Section 4. Upon passage and approval of this ordinance, the City Clerk shall file a
certified copy thereof with the Recorder of Deeds of Cole County, Missouri.
Section 5. Upon passage and approval of this ordinance, the Director of Public Works
shall cause signs to be erected in appropriate locations bearing the approved name.
Section 6.. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
