HomeMy Public PortalAboutTBM 1989-03-01Town Board March 1, 1989 Mayor Jensen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Board present were Schauner, Finlay, Muhlbauer, Johnston,Klancke and Buchheister. Town Manager, Clay Brown and Vicky Winter Bills presented for payment: Schauner made a motion to pay these bills, 2nd Buchheister, carried. Jensen advised the Board that Arby's planned to pave and do the landscaping this summer. Manager Brown gave his monthly update on projects he has done or that will continue. Brown reviewed the latest update on the canopy for the front of the building. Klancke made a motion to approve Gary Redfield to build and install, 2nd Muhlbauer. carried. Board directed Brown to go to bid on the entrance signs. Mayor Jensen left his seat on the board and joined the audience. Mayor Protem Klancke opened the discussion for Byers Peak Development pre- annexation agreement. Klancke gave a brief review of items discussed to date. and asked Hartlaub to make any comments that were appropriate at this time or to clarify anything he could see. Hartlaub commented on the water rights. Hartlaub asked for title to the water rights will any excess turned back over to the developer. Klancke reviewed that all infrastructure water needs would be up to the developer. Brown made a statement that per regulations the development would be allowed to develop to water rights decreed or find additional water. Several individuals in the audience asked question or commented to issues. Paula Sheridan advised the board that she had to date a petition against this development with some 56 signatures. Jay Clough commented that he believed the property was a wet land. Andy Miller stated that the Town had waived fees for Forest Meadows and the Hogan Development and should be careful. Miller also stated the school should be asked if they could use the property offered.
