Home My Public Portal About072-1987-TRANSFER WITHIN THE OFF STREET PARKING FUNDAN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE OFF STREET PARKING FUND WHEREAS, It has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within the fund appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana; SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED OFF STREET PARKING FUND 1000-Personal Services $2,100.00 $2,100.00 4000-Capital Outlays 9,900.00 9,900.00 TOTAL $12,000.00 $12,000.00 SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. From 2000-Suoolies - 8,300.00 (Major Budget Classification) 1000 - Personal Serv. - 2,100. TO 4000-Capital Outlays-9.900. (Major Budget Classification) Within Off Street Parking Fund (Department, Office or Fund) and that such transfer does not necessitate expenditures of more money than was set out in detail in the budget as finally approved by the State Board of Tax Commissioners. EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY 9F RICHMOND, INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City on December 7, 1987, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Councilmember Brookbank presided with the following members present: Councilmembers: Elstro, Williams, Hankinson, Parker, Hutton, Morris and Theobald Absent: Whitesell The following business was had to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented Proof of Publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the date of N/A 1987. Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the N/A 1987, by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the year 1987 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The Proof of Publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilmember moved the Proof of Publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilmember and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 72-1987. President Brookbank announced Ordinance No. 72-1987 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 72-1987 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro, Williams, Hankinson, Parker, Hutton, Theobald, Morris and Brookbank Nays: None Absent: Whitesell The vote being 8 to 0 in favor of the passage of Ordinance No. 72-1987.
