HomeMy Public PortalAbout012-1986 - TRANSFER WITHIN THE FIRE PENSION FUNDTRANSFER ORDINANCE NO.12-1986 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE FIRE PENSION FUND WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within the fund appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered and set apart out of the several appropriations herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED FIRE PENSION FUND 4000—Capital Outlays $ 175.00 $ 175.00 SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED FIRE PENSION FUND 3000—Other Services & Charges $ 175.00 $ 175.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. This transfer was made at a regular public meeting according to proper ordinance, a copy of which is attached to this certificate. Dated this 27th day of January Cat y A. EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Muncipal Building of said City on January 20, 1986 , at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Councilperson Bodiker presided with the following members present: Councilpersons Elstro , Williams Brookbank Hankinson Whitesell Parker Lemoine TMorris Absent: none The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana on the date of Public law 54 Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , 191 by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilperson _ moved the proof of publication be received anf filed, seconded by Councilperson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 12-1986 — President Bodiker announced Ordinance No. 12-1986 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 12-1986 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro , Williams Brookbank , Hankinson Whitesell PArker _ _ Lemoine Morris , Bodiker Noes: none , Absent: none The vote being 9 to 0 in favor of passage of Ordinance No. 12-1986 (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) There being no further business on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, the meeting was adjourned.
