A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH AMN MANAGEMENT, INC. TO
PROVIDE INTERIM CITY ENGINEER SERVICES FOR THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, The City Engineer position in the Public Works department is currently
vacant; and
WHEREAS, AMN Management, Inc. has been providing interim services to the
City to assist with the duties of that essential role for the past couple months; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer position is vital to the City's overall operation; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with AMN Management,
Inc. to provide interim City Engineer services until the position is permanently filled, which
may be terminated pursuant to the professional services agreement; and
WHEREAS, AMN Management, Inc. represents that it is fully qualified to perform
such services by virtue of its experience and the training, education and expertise of its
principals and employees.
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby finds and declares
that the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them herein as findings
and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. That the Lynwood City Council authorizes the City Manager to
execute an agreement with AMN Management, Inc. to provide interim City Engineer
services for the Public Works department approved as to form by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
