CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
MEETING
SEPTEMBER 17,2013
Mayor pro tem Edward Lopez called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., in the Council
Chambers of the Richland Hills City Hall,3200 Diana Drive, Richland Hills, Texas.

with the following members absent: Mayor Bill Agan, Director Robert DeSoto, constituting a
quorum, at which time the following business was transacted:
1. Call to Order
2. Approve Minutes from August 20, 2013 CCPD Board Meeting.
MOTION: A motion was made by Director Goveas, and seconded by Director
Williams to approve. Motion carried by a vote of 4-0.
3. Consider Policy for Reimbursement of Capital Expenditures in Police Budget for FY 2013-
14 and Subsequent Fiscal Years.
City Manager stated there needs to be a policy in place for reimbursement of Capital
Expenditures in the Police Department budget. In the 2013-14 Budget, there are Capital
items in the Police Department that are being funded to the General Fund. In the event the
city has to use General Funds to purchase capital equipment, the policy would state that the
funds would be reimbursed to the General Fund from the Crime Control district. Crime
Control funds can only be used for items that are in the budget.
MOTION: A motion was made by Director Williams, and seconded by Director
Richland Hills Crime Control 2 September 17, 2013
and Prevention District Meeting
Norton to approve. Motion carried by a vote of 4-0.
4. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: A motion was made by Director Williams, and seconded by Director
Norton to adjourn.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor pro tern Edward
Lopez declared the meeting adjourned at 6:10 P.M.
