A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING A FOURTH AMENDMENT WITH
PHOENIX GROUP INFORMATION SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE
PARKING AND ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION PROCESSING
SERVICES TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD COMMENCING JULY 1,
2022 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2023
WHEREAS, on June 30, 2018, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
(hereinafter the "City Council) authorized the execution of a Parking and
Administration Citation Processing Services Agreement for the period July 1, 2018
to June 30, 2020 (Fiscal Year 2018-20); and
WHEREAS, the executed FY 2018-20 Parking and Administration Citation
Processing Services Agreement allows for three (3) additional one (1) year
extensions; and
WHEREAS, on July 2, 2019, the City Council authorized the First
Amendment to the Parking and Administration Citation Processing Services
Agreement authorizing a new annual amount of $138,350 as part of the adoption
of the Fiscal Year 2019-20 and 2020-21 Budget; and
WHEREAS, on August 4, 2020, the City Council authorized the first
extension of the Parking and Administration Citation Processing Services
Agreement covering FY 2020-21 at an annual amount of$145,000 (Second
Amendment); and
WHEREAS, on May 18, 2021, the City Council authorized the second
extension of the Parking and Administration Citation Processing Services
Agreement covering FY 2021-22 at an annual amount of $165,000 (Third
Amendment); and
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant wish to extend the term of the
Parking and Administration Citation Processing Services Agreement for the period
July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 ("Third Extension"), at an annual rate of$225,000.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby finds and
declares that the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them
herein as findings and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the
Mayor to execute the Fourth Amendment to the Phoenix Group Parking and
Administration Citation Processing Services Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit
A.
Section 3. The City Council directs the Department of Finance and
Administration Services to include the approved amount of $225,000 in the FY
2022-23 Operating Budget as follows:

Section 4. Authorize the Mayor to execute this Resolution for and on behalf
of the City of Lynwood.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take full force and effect immediately upon
adoption by the City Council.
