Solid Waste Hauler's Licensing Fee
WHEREAS, section 6-5-4 of the Iona City Code authorizes the City Council to
establish a licensing fee for Solid Waste Hauler's licenses issued pursuant to the provisions
of Title 6, Chapter 5 of the Iona City Code;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish such fee;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council
of the City of Iona, that the City Clerk be and hereby is authorized to collect a fee of $50 per
year from each person or entity to whom a license is issued pursuant to the provisions of Title
6, Chapter 5, Iona City Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such fee shall be paid to the City Clerk at the
time an applicant requests a Solid Waste Hauler's license and shall be valid until December
31 st of the year in which such license is issued. All licenses shall be valid only for the
calendar year in which issued and may be renewed upon the applicant's payment of the
annual license fee for the following calendar year, subject to the applicant's qualification for
issuance of such license.
