Motion by James second by Nielsen to approve the minutes of the April regular meeting. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Van Heiden to approve the Treasurer’s report for April. Being there were no written or oral objections the Mayor declared the public hearing closed at 7:20 p.m. Motion by Lindaman second by Nielsen to approve Resolution 05-2006 a resolution approving the FY 2006 Budget Amendment. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried. Motion by James second by Van Hauen to approve hiring Meg Harms and Sara Winkowitsch as Co-Managers for the 2006 pool season. All ayes, carried. Motion by Van Heiden second by James to approve the Mutual Aid agreement with the Steamboat Rock Fire Department. All ayes, carried. Motion by Van Hauen second by Nielsen to approve the Sheriff’s Contract for FY 2007. All ayes, carried. Motion by James second by Lindaman to order 12 round tables and 96 chairs for the Wellsburg Memorial Building. All ayes, carried. Motion by James second by Van Heiden to approve a building permit for Dave Henning Construction. All ayes, carried. Motion by James second by Van Heiden to approve fireworks permit for the Wellsburg Daze Celebration. All ayes, carried. Motion by Lindaman second by Van Heiden to approve donating $1000.00 toward the Wellsburg Daze Fireworks Display. All ayes, carried. Motion to adjourn Lindaman second by Nielsen.
