A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
GARBAGE COLLECTION FEES TO BE INCLUDED AS A
FEE ON THE WATER BILL; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, garbage collection fees of the Town are currently included as
a cost of general operations of the Town and are, therefore, included in the tax
bill; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Town Commission that
garbage collection fees shall be charged separately from general operations; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that garbage collection fees shall be
included on the Town's water bill.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION
OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Garbage collection fees to residents of the Town of Gulf
Stream shall be included on the water bill for residents retroactively beginning
March 31, 2008.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in a regular session assembled this 11th day of
April, 2008.
