Home My Public Portal About2014-06-12 minutes911 Advisory Committee Meeting June 12, 2014 Minutes Attendance: Gary Wilbers, Ray Bledsoe, Randy Hanlin, Sheriff White and Steve Crowell Called meeting to order at 5:30pm Old Business: Sheriff White discussed hardware issue with not able to hear the tone out on calls that is an issue with the advent of MOSWIM equipment. This issue needs to be reviewed and fixed with the Sheriff’s Department. New Business: Sheriff White discussed talked about new tool the Sheriff Department will start using July 1st, Raids On Line which is a app to use for crime prevention. Sheriff White also shared again about Text Caster and offered it at no charge for Jefferson City usage. Sheriff White also shared about Message Qube. It is another service device Telecommunications should review particularly for use by the deaf and hard of hearing community to use to directly and personally contact the 911 Center. We had a discussion that before a meeting the committee should get a tour of the new Fire Station in the future. No further business at 6:10pm the meeting was closed.
