ORDINANCE NO. 88 -635
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING SECTION 7200 OF THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING BY
'REFERENCE THE 1987 EDITION OF TITLE 29 OF THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY MECHANICAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOL-
SECTION 1. Section 7200 of the Temple City Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
7200. ADOPTION OF CODE.
Except as hereinafter provided, that certain Mechanical
Code known and designated as the Uniform Mechanical Code as
contained in the 1987 edition of the Los Angeles County Mechani-
cal Code effective November 8, 1987 and including the appendix to
said Los Angeles County Mechanical Code and such code, except as
herein provided, shall be and become the Mechanical Code of the
City of...Temple City.provi.ding ,for the issuance of permits and the
collection of fees therefor and providing penalties for violation
of -such - -code =
SECTION - -2; Sections 7201 -7204 of the Temple City Municipal Code
shall remain in effect with appropriate reference changes.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
ordinance-and-to its approval by-the Mayor and shall cause the same to
be published in the Temple -City Times, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in the City of Temple City.

I, Chief Deputy City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 88 -635, was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Temple City held on the 17th day of May, 1988, and was duly adopted
by said Council at their regular meeting held on the 7th day of June,
1988.
