HomeMy Public PortalAbout032-1986 - ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUNDAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 32-1986 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND WHEREAS,certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for the various function of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 312 1986, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to the law governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures to be made during the year unless expressly stipulated by law. SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from Local Road and Street Fund the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency hereby declared to exist: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND $50,000.00 $50,000.00 To be used for the following: 4000-Capital Outlays $50,000.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. The proof of publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilperson —.Morris moved the proof of publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilperson Brookbank and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
