A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT AND
APPROVAL TO PACIFIC ADVANCED CIVIL ENGINEERING, INC. FOR
THE DESIGN OF WATERLINE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR FY 2022-
2023 (CIP 4011.68.042) FOR A NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF
$130,330.00
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood submitted a Request for Proposals on May 12,
2022; and
WHEREAS, on June 20, 2022, the Request for Proposals for the Project closed on
the City's web site (PlanetBids); and
WHEREAS, the City received two proposals; and
WHEREAS, upon analysis of the requested RFP parameters Pacific Advanced
Civil Engineering, Inc. submitted the lowest proposal and were also the highest rated
proposer; and
WHEREAS, no further appropriations are needed for the design work of the sewer
line improvements; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends Pacific Advanced Civil Engineering, Inc. to perform
and complete the design work for the water line improvement project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the Mayor to execute the
professional services agreement between the City of Lynwood and Pacific Advanced Civil
Engineering, Inc. for the Water Lines Improvement Project FY22/FY23 ("Project") in the
amount of$130,330.00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and hereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
