AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1986 -18
SECTION 443 -15 "SCHEDULE OF NO PARKING ZONES"
WHEREAS, Harrison R. Smith and Debra McClure Smith, Husband and
Wife have petitioned the City of Greencastle, Indiana, to vacate one parallel
parking space on the West side of College Avenue, between Washington Street and
Walnut Street, directly South of the Alley; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the parking space will allow better access to the
property of the residents through the alley by public service vehicles and
personnel; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has determined that the vacation of the
parking space will be in the best interest of Mr. and Mrs. Smith as well as adjacent
property owners; and
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle that the parking space on the West side of College Avenue between
Washington Street and Walnut Street, directly South of the Alley, shall be
determined to be a no parking area.
NOW THEREFORE be it further ordained by the Common Council of the
City of Greencastle that Section 443 -15 of the "schedule of no parking zones" be
amended to include such area.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the
Greencastle Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED bv the Common Council of the City of
