I’m intrigued by the opening sentence, “It has come to our attention that you may not qualify to rent the land at 1531 McCall Ave, McCall, ID for $1 a year and may be subject to pay additional annual rent equal to five percent (5%) of the value of the Real Property.” Please provide more details regarding the “It has come to our attention…..” What does that mean? Per SECTION ONE, DEMISE, DESCRIPTION, AND USE OF PREMISES: We meet the following qualifications highlighted in yellow: Qualified Person Employment and or/residency in Valley County. At least one non-dependent member of the household must meet one of the following criteria: No we do not meet this criteria Senior person (that is, sixty-five [65] years or older) both occupants (Diane Miller is 66 yrs 10 mo; Cindy Boyce is 68 yrs 7 mo) 2. The household shall occupy the unit as its primary residence which is defined as the residence within which the occupants reside not less than nine months out of each calendar year and evidenced by voter registration, hunting or fishing license or other evidence of residency. Evidence of Residency documents: Voter Registration-Diane Miller (I usually vote absentee ballot, so I hadn’t updated my address to reflect my move to 1531 McCall Ave as of March 2020. Thank you for reminding me that this was a to do that I needed to complete.) McCall Post Office Box since 12/31/2019: PO Box 2382, McCall, ID 83638 Retired-we are retired and take full advantage of our health and passion for travel. We love to camp, visit family and friends in other parts of the country and engage in new adventures. Our travels take us away from our home in McCall frequently. I’ve reviewed the lease agreement and couldn’t find anything regarding restrictions on residents engaging in travel which of course would take them away from their primary residence. Perhaps whoever is concerned that we aren’t residents of the property at 1531 McCall Ave nine months or more isn’t aware of our travel plans? Please update the address on file to: Diane G. Miller PO Box 2382 McCall, ID 83638 Because we aren’t at the Boise address often a neighbor had to sign for the letter you sent delaying our receiving your letter.
