Re: Sign Design Review (SG-23-02) for McCall Municipal Airport (MYL)
This letter hereby provides City of McCall administrative approval of the signs represented in the sign
design review application (accepted on April 23, 2023 with Sign Design Completed and authorized by a
public official) which is described as follows:
• One (1) Wall Sign under the peak of the roof identifying the building as the McCall Municipal
Airport with the City Logo.
o The sign totals 26 square feet and is designed with a beige background to match the exterior
building color.
• One (1) multi-tenant wall sign with removable tenant panels (2) measuring 1 ft x 3 ft each for a total
of 6 square feet.
o Each primary tenant sign (2) will be 1 ft x 3 ft on flat aluminum sign backboard with vinyl
print indicating the business name, logo, and general offerings in McCall Design Guideline-
compliant color schemes including off-white, charcoal, beige, and limited accent colors.
o Tenant signs A & B shall be approved by the McCall Airport Manager and Communications
Manager and issued only to authorized tenants of the McCall Municipal Airport Hangar
• One (1) double sided projecting sign structure mounted on the North face of the building near the
corner, showing the same tenant panels as the multitenant wall sign. The individual tenant panels are
each less than 2 square feet in area and shall be approved by the McCall Airport Manager and
Communications Manager as tenants change.
The linear dimension of the building frontage(s) along E Deinhard Lane is approximately 410 feet,
thereby allowing a maximum of 100 square feet of signage for the property. Therefore the proposed
installation of approximately 40 square feet of signage is within the allowable square footage for the
property. Addition of any future window decals, or other ‘Signs/Signage’ as defined by McCall City Code
shall require a new sign application. Pursuant to McCall City Code (Title 3, Chapter 9), the sign design
meets the intent of the McCall Design Guidelines and is hereby approved by the City of McCall.
Sincerely,
Meredith Todd
