AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 93.05 (B)(3)(a)
WHEREAS, the Board of Sanitary Commissioners has determined that the collection,
handling and disposal of construction and industrial waste and debris
should be handled in a more efficient manner,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond
that the following is hereby amended in the City Code:
Section 93.05 (B)(3)(3) shall be amended as follows:
The Board shall not be required to collect and dispose of
construction and industrial refuse. Construction
refuse shall be removed within ten (10) days of
completion of construction work. The Board is hereby
authorized to adopt standards and procedures for the
disposal and handling ofconstruction and industrial
waste and debris whenever and wherever it deems best.
The Board shall also be authorized to establish fees for
disposal of such construction and industrial waste and
refuse.
