AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money
within the fund appropriated in the annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered and
set apart out of the several appropriations herein named and for the
purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same:
GENERAL FUND
Police Department
4000—Capital Outlay

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now
have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes
for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following
existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts:

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the

hereby certify to the Auditor of Wayne County that the Common Council
Transferred $ 3,000.00
From 1000-Personal Services

To 4000-Capital Outlay
(Major Budget Classification)
Within General Fund - Police Department
(Department or Office)
and that such transfer does not necessitate expenditures of more money than was
set out in detail in the budget as finally approved by the State Board of Tax
Commissioners.
This transfer was made at a regular public meeting according to proper ordinance,
a copy of which is attached to this certificate.

COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the
Council Chambers in the Muncipal Building of said City on July 7, 1986
at the hour of 7:30 P.M.
Councilperson Bodiker presided with the following members present:
Councilpersons Elstro, , WIlliams, Brookbank Hankinson
Whitesell Parker Hutton Morris
Absent: none ,
The following business was had, to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond,
Indiana on the date of Public Law 54 Said notice stated that a public
hearing would be held on the day of , 19 , by the
Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No.
, within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was
examined and found to be in order. Councilperson _ _ moved the
proof of publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilperson
and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 58-1986
President Bodiker announced Ordinance No.58-1986 was on public hearing.
After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 58-1986 was placed on final
passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded:

The vote being 9 to 0 in favor of passage of Ordinance No.
