AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE SALARIES, WAGES AND POSITIONS FOR APPOINTED OFFICERS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE RICHMOND SANITARY DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JANUARY 1, 1987, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1987, AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF SANITARY
COMMISSIONERS.
WHEREAS, Indiana Code, I.C. 36-9-25-10 authorizes the Richmond Board of
Sanitary Commissioners to set the positions, salaries, and wages of
its officers and employees;
WHEREAS, the Board of Sanitary Commissioners has set the positions, salaries, and
wages of its officers and employees, pursuant to its Resolution No.
12-1986,adopted July 8, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Richmond desires to ratify the
positions, wages, and salaries of the Sanitary District and to
incorporate Resolution No. 12-1986 of the Richmond Board of Sanitary
Commissioners into the salary ordinance for the City of Richmond,
Ordinance No. 53-1986.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Wayne County, Indiana that:
SECTION 1. Resolution No. 12-1986, adopted by the Board of Commissioners for the
Richmond Sanitary District on July 8, 1986, is hereby adopted by
reference, ratified and incorporated into this Ordinance as
supplementing the salary ordinance for other City of Richmond
officers and employees, being Ordinance No. 53-1986.
SECTION 2. Resolution No. 12-1986 of the Board of Sanitary Commissioners assigns
the following salaries to the following City officials:
CITY ATTORNEY 13,000.00
CITY CONTROLLER 7,800.00
DEPUTY CONTROLLER 4,300.00
PAYROLL MANAGER 3,094.00
DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES 3,816.00
PURCHASING DIRECTOR 9,013.00
PURCHASING/CONTROLLER COORDINATOR 4,580.00
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS 23,800.00
PUBLIC WORKS SECRETARY 7,716.00
BOOKEEPER/COMPUTER OPERATOR 2,500.00
LEGAL SECRETARY 675.00
Such allocation has been provided for in Ordinance No. 53-1986 and are included
here for illustrative purposes only, and are not intended as additional
compensation beyond the total salaries established for those. positions in
Ordinance No. 53-1986.

WHEREAS, a Resolution is required to fix salaries and wages for all appointed
officers and employees of the Sanitary District of
Richmond, Indiana, for the
calendar year beginning January 1, 1987, and ending December 31, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Sanitary Commissioners of the
Sanitary District of Richmond, Indiana, that the following appointed officers
and employees of the Sanitary District of Richmond,
Indiana, shall receive the
