AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 44345 OF
THE CITY CODE TO ESTABLISH LOADING ZONES
WHEREAS, DePauw University has petitioned the city for a loading zone on the
North side of Hanna Street adjacent to Rector Hall; and,
WHEREAS, the business known as Second -Hand -Sue's located on the South side of
Washington Street between Jackson Street and Market Street has petitioned for the
establishment of a loading zone; and,
WHEREAS, after review, the City Engineer, the Street Department and the Police
Chief all concur with such requests.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle that loading zones be established on the North side of Hanna Street adjacent to
the service door at Rector Hall and on the South side of Washington Street, west of Jackson
Street in front of Second - Hand -Sue's and that Chapter 443-45 be amended to reflect such
change.
® This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle
Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle,
Indiana this 14th day of May, 1996.
