AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 154 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING
ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF THE
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 1200 BLOCK OF NORTH "F" STREET FROM R-3
ONE -TO -EIGHT FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO M-2 GENERAL INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968
designates and describes as R-3 One -to -Eight Family
Residence District the property located in the 1200 block
of North "F" Street; and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning
classification of said property from R-3 One -to -Eight
Family Resident District to M-12 General Industrial
District; and,
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond
City Plan Commission the day of 2 ,
1986, at which time remonstrances were heard from all
parties interested in or affected by this Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was l0
to O in favor of/in recommending the
passage of Ordinance No. 72-1986.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana as follows:
SECTION 1. That the zoning classification of the property described
below, and the same is hereby changed to M-2 General
Industrial District, and that said property be regulated in
accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Richmond, Indiana and all amendments thereto.
Lot 4, 5 and 6 in Hugh Moffitt's Addition to the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as by law required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, this _3„d day of 1986.

Dear Mr. Bodiker, Members of Common Council & Mrs. Merchanthouse:
The Richmond City Plan Commission conducted a public hearing on
Tuesday, October 28, 1986, on the petition of ICC Primex Plastics,
et al (being five property owners), requesting to rezone property
located in the 1200 Block of North F Street from R-3 One to Eight
Family Residence District to M-2 General Industrial District.
Thirteen (13) notices of public hearing were sent to surruonding
property owners with one (1) returned in favor of the request.
During the public hearing no one spoke in opposition to the
request.
The Plan Commission voted ten (10) to zero (0) to recommend that
Ordinance No. 72-1986 be adopted.
