AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 53-1986 (1987 SALARY ORDINANCE FOR
THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1987 AND
ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1987).
WHEREAS, Amended Ordinance No. 53-1986 established the various positions and
salaries for the offices and employees of the Department of Parks and
Recreation; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council approved the positions and salaries for the Department
of Parks and Recreation as set forth in Amended Ordinance No. 53-1986;
and,
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Board has approved a revised organizational
structure for the Department of Parks and Recreation; and,
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reflect the job position and salary changes for
the Department of Parks and Recreation as set forth in Amended Ordinance
No. 53-1986;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1. That for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1987 and ending
December 31, 1987 the following positions and salaries be deleted
from Amended Ordinance No. 53-1986.
PARK GENERAL FUND
Parks Division Director 21,630.
Maintenance Supervisor 18,469.
Animal Caretaker Supervisor 13,598.
Grounds and BUilding Foreman 18,818.
PARK NON -REVERTING FUND
Glen Miller Golf Course Asst. Greenskeeper 11,236.
Highland Lake Golf Course Co-Greenskeeper 15,450.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1987 and ending
December 31, 1987 that the appointed offices and employees of
the City of Richmond, Indiana shall receive the following
salaries for their positions:
PARK GENERAL FUND
Special Services Manager 21,000.
Director of Planning and Administration 20,000.
Grounds and Building Leader 13,905.
Grounds and Building Foreman 20,000.
PARK NON -REVERTING FUND
Turf Manager 20,000.
