HomeMy Public PortalAbout081-1986 - ORDIANNCE TO REDUCE WITHIN THE AIRPORT FUNDORDINANCE NO. 8 1- 1986 AN ORDINANCE TO REDUCE WITHIN THE AIRPORT FUND WHEREAS, i.t has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana: SECTION 1. That the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amount. AIRPORT FUND 2000-Supplies 3000-Other Services & Charges AMOUNT REQUESTED $ 23,500 1,500 TOTAL $25,000 AMOUNT REDUCED $ 23,500 1,500 $ 25,000 SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. Councilperson Brookbank presided with the following members present: Councilpersons Elstro Williams , Hankinson , Whitesell Parker Hutton Morris Absent: Bodiker ' The following business was had, to -wit: ' (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana on the date of N/A Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of 19 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilperson ___ moved the proof of publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilperson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. 0 The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 81-1986 President 'Brookbnak announced Ordinance No. 81-1986 was on public hearing. By reducing the line items; !aviation Fuel Sales and Taxes in this years budget, next years budget should be passed as presented to the State Tax Commissioners. The lower price and sales are reflected in. the 1987 budget.
