HomeMy Public PortalAbout084-1986 - ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE PUBLIC TRANSIT FUNDTRANSFER ORDINANCE NO. 84-1986 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE PUBLIC TRANSIT FUND WHEREAS, It has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within the fund appropriated in the annual budget. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana; SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED PUBLIC TRANSIT FUND 4000-Capital Outlays $1,500.00 $1,500.00 SECTION 2. WHEREAS, It has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobli.gated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED PUBLIC TRANSIT FUND 3000-Other Services & $1,500.00 $1,500.00 Charges SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. Councilperson Bodiker presided with the following members present: Councilpersons E stro Williams Brookbank Hankinson Parker Hutton Morris Absent: Whitesell The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana on the date of PUblic Law 54 Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , 19 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilperson moved the proof of publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilperson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 84-1986 President Bodiker announced Ordinance No. 84-1986 was on public hearing.
