® AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE GREENCASTLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
AND THE PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD OF AVIATION COMMISSIONERS,
THE PUTNAM COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AND THE PUTNAM COUNTY COUNCIL,
FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE PUTNAM COUNTY AIRPORT
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of Putnam County, the City of Greencastle and the
Board of Aviation Commission to enter into an agreement for development and expansion of
the Putnam County Airport; and,
WHEREAS, I.C. 36 -1 -7 and I.C. 8- 22 -2 -15 set out the authorization for such agreement;
and,
WHEREAS, the Putnam County Commissioners are the executive body of Putnam
County with appointing authority over members of the Putnam County Board of Aviation
Commissioners; and,
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Redevelopment Commission is an Executive Department
of the City of Greencastle with authority to issue Bonds and levy taxes pursuant to I.C. 36 -7-
14; and,
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
O Greencastle that the Greencastle Redevelopment Commission be authorized to enter into an
agreement with the Board of Aviation Commission and Putnam County Commissioners
attached hereto as Exhibit A and designated as follows:
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GREENCASTLE
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD
OF AVIATION COMMISSIONERS, THE PUTNAM COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, AND THE PUTNAM COUNTY COUNCIL,
FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE PUTNAM COUNTY AIRPORT.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor and approval of the aforementioned Inter -local
Agreement by the Greencastle Redevelopment Commission.
