AN ORDINANCE CREATING A REPLACEMENT FUND TO BE USED TO CONSTRUCT, REPAIR, IMPROVE
OR REPLACE BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, GROUNDS AND EQUIPMENT FOR OFF STREET PARKING
FACILITIES FOR THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest for the City of Richmond Off Street Parking
operations to obligate certain funds for improvements, repairs, replacements
or additions to buildings, structures, grounds and equipment,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana
that:
1. The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana acting as the
fiscal body of said City does hereby establish a Replacement Fund
for Off Street Parking Facilities, which said fund shall be cumulative.
2. There shall be monies deposited in said fund in the following manner:
(a) Seventy—five percent (75%) of the Cash Operating Balance in excess
of $1,000.00 at the close of each fiscal year shall be transferred
to the Replacement Fund.
3. Loans or transfers from the Off Street Parking Replacement Fund to
the Off Street Parking Operating Fund may be approved by the Common
Council for such situations as may be deemed extraordinary or emergency.
