A RESOLUTION DIRECTING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE DRILLING OF A
WATER WELL AT THE EVERGREEN PLANT
WHEREAS, the Town of Richland Hills, Texas has here-
tofore obtained bids for the drilling of a water well on its
Evergreen Plant in accordance with plans, specifications and
contract documents, prepared by Freese and Nichols, Consulting
Engineers and approved by the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Richland Hills, Texas; and
WHEREAS bids have been received and opened by the Mayor
and whereas, Texas Water Wells, Incorporated, Houston, Texas,
submitted the low bid and whereas the Town has received the
recommendation of Freese & Nichols, consulting engineers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS, THAT:
Section 1. Texas Water Wells, Inc., be and they are hereby
awarded the contract for the construction and drilling of a
Trinity Sand Water Well on the Town property known as the
Evergreen Plant in accordance with plans and specifications
�- heretofore prepared by Freese & Nichols, consulting engineers
and approved by the Board of Aldermen.

Section 2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute a
con rac -Tor the base bid of Thirty Two Thousand Four Hundred
Ninety Five ($32,495.00) Dollars with the Texas Water Wells,
Inc., said contract to be in accordance with plans, specifica-
tions and contract documents heretofore approved by the Town.
Section 3. The Mayor is further authorized and directed to do
all other things necessary or proper to accomplish the perform-
ance of said contract and the payment therefor, payment to be
made out of the Water Department funds in accordance with the
ordinances of the Town of Richland Hills, Texas.
