RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO PURCHASE A PUMP TO BE USED BY THE FIRE DEPT.
WHEREAS, the Town has heretofore accepted contributions
and gifts from the Volunteer Fire Department to be used in the
purchase of a truck and the usual fire fighting apparatuses, and
WHEREAS, The Town has heretofore advertised for bids for
the purchase of a pump in accordance with the ordinances of the
Town of Richland Hills, Texas and the laws of the State of Texas,
and,
WHEREAS, said bids have been received and whereas, the
Company submitted the low bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT: p�
Section 1 . That the bid of the
Company --for the purchase of the pump in accordance with the spec-
ifications heretofore prepared and the contract documents there-
with be accepted.
Section 2. The Mayor shall sign a contract with the said,," � -

Company for the purchase of said
pump and other apparatuses to be used in connection therewith
as provided for in the plans, specifications and contract documents.
Section 3. That the Mayor shall see that the said
Z-f_�, Company is paid in accordance with the con-
tract and that the said check shall be drawn upon the Volunteer
Fire Department account.
Section 4. The Mayor is further authorized and directed to do
all o er things necessary and proper to accomplish the purchase
and ddlivery of the said pump and any and all other apparatuses
necessary and proper for the accomplishment of obtaining a fire
truck and related equipment.
