CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE No.41t9
AN ORDINANCE AMMENDING SECTIONS 9(A) (58) and 9(c~) of
ORDINANCE NUMBER 35 PERTAINING TO THE STORAGE OF RETAIL
MERCHANDISE OUTSIDE OF AN ENCLOSED BUILDING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE:
Section 1.
Section 9(A) 58 Of Ordinance number 35 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"The provisions of this section (58) shall not apply to nurseries
or greenhouses, and in addition, shall not be deemed to prevent the
display of merchandise required in servicing of vehicles when located
on service islands at filling stations, nor shall it supercede any
of the conditions required by the Governing Body under the provisions
for Conditional uses."
Section 2.
Section 9c of Ordinance number 35 is hereby ammended to read
as follows:
"All articles for sale, rent, display, stroage or hire must be kept
within an enclosed building, except as permitted in A 58."
Section 3.
Section 9(A) (58) and Section 9(c) of Ordinance number 35 is
hereby repealed.
Section 4.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its publication
in the official city publication.
Passed and adopted by the City Council this~day of December, 1982.
