A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE
SECRETARY TO EXECUTE A DEED FOR THE SALE
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE TOWN
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Whereas, the Town is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property and whereas the said tract is so small that
it is of no use to the Town and whereas, the said tract is a por-
tion of a tract of land owned by Will Snow, and
Whereas, the said real property would be of no value
to anyone other than Will Snow and whereas Will Snow has agreed
to purchase said tract of land for One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars,
and whereas it has been determined that such a price is fair and
reasonable;
NOW, THEREFORE, .3E IT RESOLVED THAT:
The Mayor be authorized and directed to sign a deed
and the Secretary is also authorized and directed to attest the
same conveying a certain tract of land described as follows:
Beginning at a point 3/4" reinforcing rod in the north right
of way line of State Highway No. 121, said. point being in the South
line of the Will Snow tract of land out of the A. G. Walker Survey as
recorded in Vol. 527, page 148, Tarrant County, Deed Records, said point
being also 946.5 feet east of and 1990 feet south of the northwest
corner of the said Walker Survey;
Thence N. 27 deg. 04' W. 174.5 feet to a 3/4" reinforcing rod
for a oorner;
Thence N. 41 deg. 14' E. 47.4 feet to an iron rod for a corner;
Thence S. 48 deg. 46' E 35 feet to a point;
Thence S. 41 deg. 14' W. 48.2 feet to a point;
Thence S. 27 deg. 04' E. 137 feet to a point in the north right
of way line of State Highway #121;
Thence S. 48 Deg. W. 12.5 feet to the place of beginning.
to Will Snow upon receipt of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars by the
Town and to further do all things necessary to transfer the title
to said property to Will Snow reserving, however, the necessary
easement for the maintenance of the Town's water lines.
