HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution No. 003-57 05-09-1957 RESOLUTION # 3, �957 RESOLVED, that the City Council of Richland Hills, Texas express its appreciation of the splendid services voluntarily rendered to the City of Richland Hills, Texas and to its citizens during the recent disaster by so many organizations and individuals; RESOLVED, that the City Council of Richland Hills, Texas does hereby recognize the fact that all of the individuals with their untiring energy greatly reduced and prevented the loss of life and injury to our inhabi- tants and greatly reduced the financial loss of the unfortunate residents who were affected by the disaster. RESOLVED, that it is the opinion of the City Council of the Town of Richland Hills, Texas that the spirit in which so many helped, is the spirit that has made our Country great and the spirit that will continue to cause our Country to take her high place in the movements of the world. RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be sent to as many of the organizations as the City has record of participating and that such org- anizations are requested to convey to its members the most sincere appre- ciation by the City Council, personally and on behalf of all the citizens of Richland Hills. RESOLVED FURTHER, that this Resolution be unanimously adopted and signed by all members of the City Council. UNANIMOUSLY PASSED AND APPROVED THE 9TH DAY OF MAY, A.
