A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY TREASURER TO PAY HENRY MILLIKIN $2,131.70
® FOR SERVICES PERFORMED IN CONNECTION WITH THE TOWN'S
+� EVERGREEN WATER PLANT.
1 WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen has heretofore authorized and
directed the Mayor to employ Henry Millikin to pull the pump and screen
from the Town's Evergreen Water well for the purpose of determining why
V the said well was malfunctioning; and

Fj) WHEREAS, the Town agreed to pay for any parts necessary for the
repairs to the well, including the repairs to any parts; and

WHEREAS, the Town agreed to pay Henry Millikin Fifteen ($15.00)
Dollars per hour for the work that he did, the said $15.00 per hour to
17 include any and all employees as well as the use of his equipment; and
0 0 WHEREAS, after the said pump and screen was removed from the
well, it was determined that the condition of the well was much more serious
03 than it had originally been anticipated and whereas it was necessary for
the well to be repaired at the earliest possible date not only because of
the City's need for the water but also to prevent more damage to the well; and
WHEREAS, the said Henry Millikin has submitted a bill in amount of
$1,950.00 for labor and use of equipment and one bill for $181.70 for
materials; and
WHEREAS, in truth and in fact the said Henry Millikin has actually
spent more time working on the well than he has actually charged for;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS; THAT:
Section 1. That the Mayor and Treasurer be authorized and directed to
pay to Henry Millikin the sum of $2,131.70 for his services for work on
the Evergreen Plant, the said services including all services performed
to and including January 31, 1958.
