RESOLUTION #9-58
RESOLUTION CORRECTING THE PERSONAL PROPERTY
RENDITION OF THE FIRST CONTAINER CORPORATION
Whereas, an assessment was made against the First Container
Corporation for taxes for the year 1957 based on a valuation of
$50,000; and
Whereas, there was an error in such rendition and whereas
such error was not discovered until after the Board of Equalization
had rendered their report; and
Whereas, the Board of Aldermen has made an investigation
and has determined that the said valuation should be $15,675.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE TOWN OF RICHIAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That the Tax Assessor and Collector be authorized and
directed to correct the valuation of the personal property of the
First Container Corporation and that the said valuation be and it
is hereby made $15,675.00 and that the T-:ix Collector notify the
First Container Corporation of such change and that he collect the
proper tax in accordance with the law.
