The Patriotic Picnic begins at 6:00 p.m. and runs till 9:00 p.m. in the south parking lot. The Fireworks Show concludes the festivities at 9:15 p.m. As a result of the event; Fort Beggs Drive will be closed from 4:30 p.m. until approximately 10:30 p.m. There will also bean increase in pedestrian traffic in the area. All motorists are advised to use caution on Monday afternoon and evening when driving in the area of PCHS. Renwick Community Park will also be closed all day on Monday, July 3=a to facilitate the set up and launch of the fireworks show. This includes the ball fields and skate park. Parking for the Patriotic Picnic will be on the main campus of Plainfield Central High School. The rear parking lots will be accessible off of James Street near Commercial Street. Handicapped parking will be accessible near the front of the school. Additional parking is available at St. Mary Immaculate Parish located at 15629 S. Route 59. Parking will also be restricted on Fort Beggs Drive, River Road, and Commercial Street.
