RESOLUTION NO 4
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MARY LYNN PATLIFF AND ALL
MEMBERS OF THE GARDEN CLUBS OF THE TOWN OF RICHLAND
HILLS AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION OF THE. BOARD OF
ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS FOR AND ON
BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN AND THE RESIDENTS
OF THE TOWN OF RICHLAND HILLS FOR PLANTING SHRUBB-
ERY ALONG STATE HIGHWAY #183.
WHEREAS, Mary Lynn Ratliff and all members of the garden clubs of the
Town of Richland Hills, Texas, in order to beautify the said Town,did plant
shrubbery along State Highway #183 in the Town of Richland Hills, Texas without
cost or expense to the Town; and
WHEREAS, such activity is an expression of civic interest and pride in
our community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That Mary Lynn Ratliff and all members of the Garden Clubs of the
Town of Richland Hills, Texas, be commended for their civic pride and interest
in the Town of Richland Hills, Texas in planting shrubbery along Highway #183.
Section 2. That such activity on the part of Mary Lynn Ratliff and all members
of the Garden Clubs of the Town of Richland Hills is an expression of the high-
est ideals, loyalty and pride in our community.
Section 3. That this Resolution of Commendation and Appreciation is for and on
behalf of all members of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Richland Hills,
Texas and for and on behalf or all the residents of the Town of Richland Hills.
Section 4. That the City Secretary be and she is hereby directed to forward
appropriate copy of this Resolution to the interested parties.
Section 5. That this resolution be and it is hereby unanimously adopted and
approved by all members of the Board of Aldermen.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 19th day of December, 1958.
