[ I A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
[0 MAYOR AND THE TREASURER OF THE TOWN OF RICH-
LAND HILLS TO INVEST CERTAIN MONIES OF THE
STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT FUND BY
W PURCHASING CERTIFICATES OF INDEBTEDNESS OF
U, THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.

U.1 WHEREAS, the Town has in its account certain monies appropriated for
street and drainage improvements and

WHEREAS, it will be some time before all the said money will be
required; and whereas, it is to the best interest of the Town of Richland
Ct Hills that said money be invested;
O NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF RICHLAND
m HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and Treasurer be and they are hereby authorized and dir-
ected to invest /,i1 S 2/ ,3 DOLLARS
out of the Street and Drainage Improvement monies in certificates of indebted-
ness of the U. S. Government and that said due date on such certificates of
indebtedness of the U. S. Government be on or before the date that saidnonies
will be required to carry out the said street and drainage improvement program.
It is further Ordered and Directed that the said Mayor and Treasurer consult
with and take into consideration the recommendations of the Town's Engineers
as to the dates and amounts of money that will be necessary to .carry out the
street and drainage improvements.
