HILLSBOROUGH TOWN BOARD
October 11, 2004 7:30 PM, Town Barn The Hillsborough Town Board held a Closed Session on October 11, 2004 in the Hillsborough Town Barn. Present for the Closed session were Mayor Joe Phelps, and Commissioners Eric Hallman, Michael Gering, Brian Lowen, Frances Dancy, and Evelyn Lloyd. Staff present were Town Manager Eric Peterson, Assistant Town Manager/Public Works Director Demetric Potts, Town Clerk Donna Armbrister, Finance Director Greg Siler, and Town Attorney Bob Hornik. Mayor Joe Phelps opened Closed Session. A.Closed Session as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11.( a)(3) to consult with Town Attorney concerning the position to be taken onbehalf of the Town regarding delinquent Privilege LicensesB.Closed Session as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-3 l 8. l l.(a)(3) to consult with Town Attorney concerning pending LitigationCommissioner Gering reported that he has heard that the listing contract on the Colonial Inn has expired and the "for sale" signs have now disappeared. Attorney Hornik stated that since the property is no longer for sale, the Town can proceed with ordinance enforcement.
