HomeMy Public PortalAboutTBM 1996-03-20The regular meeting of the Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Jensen. Other board present were Klancke, Olson, Havens, Wirsing, Swatzell and Johnston. Also present were Reid, Skelton and Winter. Minutes of the March 6th meeting were approved as written. OPEN FORUM STREET SWEEPER TOWN BOARD MARCH 20, 1996 Marty Zieff again voiced that the Board not allow development on PA 28 adjacent to the Fraser Cemetery. Skelton and Reid showed a map of PA 28 showing contours and reviewed a compromise that was discussed between the developer and the cemetery representatives. The developers will bring back a site design for further review from the cemetery representatives and then bring it back to the Town for review. Jim Tucker discussed purchase of another street sweeper that he has seen at Colo. Surplus and would like authorization to buy it. The cost is $3500.00. He does need to check it out further before he buys it. Johnston moved to allow the purchase of the sweeper, 2nd Wirsing, carried. RESOLUTION 96 -3 -2 Resolution setting a hearing for the Library annexation with a corrected date for the hearing of May 1st 1996, the Manifest failed to publish the notice on time. Klancke moved to set the hearing for May 1st, 2nd Havens, carried. MARYVALE REVISED PDD PRELIMINARY Maryvale developers along with their planner continued the discussion of the revised plan, and showed various additional changes they made to the plan with regards comments and concerns voiced at meetings they have attended. Various issues were again discussed. They expect to be back with the revised PDD in the near future. OTHER BUSINESS The April 3rd meeting has been changed to April dth at 7:30 to allow participation in the first meeting of the growth planning efforts. Grant application presentation will be March 28th for the GOCO grant. Legislative breakfast will be tomorrow morning in Denver. Art Olson is planning an addition to his structure on Muse Drive. Presently the drive is private over a dedicated but unimproved street. Skelton needs Board authorization to allow future building accessed by the private drive. Board approved this access and asked the Town to investigate a special improvements district for the lot owners of Byers Vista to get the improvements that are needed for development of those lots. Klancke gave a brief report on the Rec. Dist. meeting. No further business, meeting adjourned at 10:45 p.m.
