Dear Mr. Strope,
I am interested in serving on the McCall Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. I would
like to assist the City in this manner to promote the further development of our recreation
program and to improve our various parks. As a community with a tourism -dependent
economy, quality recreation opportunities and park space are significant issues to
residents and visitors alike.
My family is active in recreation activities. My two young boys have had great
experiences in some of the City recreation programs. As you know, I have a keen interest
in the proposed development of Riverfront Park and have attended most of the public
meetings pertaining to that issue. I would like to serve as a board member so that I might
continue to provide input to that project as well as to other parks and recreation matters.
If you need to contact me, I will be out of town for a couple weeks, but will return April
7th. Thank you for your time and consideration.
