HILLSBOROUGH TOWN BOARD
June 13, 2005 7:30 P� Town Barn The Hillsborough Town Board held a Closed Session on June 13, 2005 in the Hillsborough Town Barn. Present for the Closed Session were Mayor Joe Phelps, and Commissioners Eric Hallinan, Frances Dancy, Michael Gering, Brian Lowen, and Evelyn Lloyd. Staff present were Town Manager Eric Peterso� Assistant Town Manager/Public Works Director Demetric Potts, Town Clerk Donna Armbrister, Management Intern Christina Riordan, Planning Director Margaret Hauth, and Town Attorney Bob Hornik. 12.CLOSED SESSIONA.Closed Session as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11(3)to meet with Town Attorney regarding pending Litigation Proceedings and StatusReport10:13:29 PMMayor Phelps opened Closed Session 10:13:54 PM Town Attorney Bob Hornik stated that in the Colonial Inn case the Judge has given us until the end of June to settle the case. Town Attorney Bob Hornik stated that he believed most of the issues that were identified in the original Demolition By Neglect Action by the Town have now been addressed by Mr. Henry. He requested direction from the Board on how to proceed. Town Manager Eric Peterson also reported on an arrest issue that is a potential lawsuit. Upon a motion by Commissioner Dancy, seconded by Commissioner Hallman, the Board moved to return to Open Session by a vote of 5-0. The motion was declared passed. Respectfully submitted, Donna F.
