1. CALL TO ORDER
Library Director, Chantele Hancock, brought the meeting to order at 6:03pm.
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS
No Public Comments.
REGULAR AGENDA
3. Welcome
Library Director, Chantele Hancock, welcomed all members of the committee to this
meeting. She offered a brief description of the goals for this meeting. Including touching
on any updates from subcommittees and the timetable of city-wide budget preparation.
4. Approve the February 8, 2024 75th Anniversary Committee meeting minutes
Chantele expressed to the committee that with the departure of Jennifer Hilburn, staff was
not able to access and share the minutes. The committee will have an opportunity to do
that at the April Meeting.
5. Discuss 75th Logo
Director Hancock showed the committee how MS Teams is set up. She demonstrated
the possible opportunities in using Teams. Jennifer Hartzke walked the group through
her marketing presentation that was uploaded to Teams.
6. Scheduled Events
Deborah Rodgers suggested to get a file online to see the calendar year’s 2025 holiday
and special event dates. Multiple options were discussed:
- Multiple days
- Day/Night programming
- What should be a part of the “Big” event
- How will committee members be involved
- Focused on September 27, 2025 as best option
7. Discuss 75th Anniversary History
Diane Barrett and Director Hancock said that there is not much progress, including no
response from the RHS Librian.
8. Adjournment
Diane Barrette motioned to adjourn with Jenny Clark seconding. The 75th Committee was
adjourned at 7:08pm.
