AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT V~ITH E.K.A.
ASSOCIATES - GRANT AVENUE PARK
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering services
in connection with preliminary site investigation and design related to proposed
improvcments to Grant Avemte Park; and
WHEREAS, E.K.A Associates has submittcd a proposal to provide said professional
engineering services for thc above-referenccd project for a total cost not to cxceed
S3,000.00 for thc referenced sctwices; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officcr has certified that funds are or
will be available for said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Council and Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlcsex, State of New Jersey as follows:
That the proposal from E.K.A. Associates for professional
engineering services related to proposed improvements to
Grant Avcnue is hereby approved in an amount not to exceed
$3,000.00
2. That this award is madc without competitive bids as a
professional services contract.
Adopted this 16th day of January, 2003 and
certified as a true copy of the original on
January 17, 2003.
