AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 154 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE,
BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF SPECIAL USE ORDINANCE NO.
2518-1971 BY AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITIONAL
BUILDING WITHIN A COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT UNIT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,.
has adopted Ordinance No. 2518-1971 which authorized
a Special Use<. for a Commercial Development Unit Pro-
ject on property located at 2021 Chester Boulevard;
and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to amend Ordi-
nance No. 2518-1971 by authorizing the construction
of an additional building within the Commercial De-
velopment Unit Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is also the intent and purpose hereof, pursuant
to Article 45.051 of the Zoning Ordinance, to modify
the required distance a building must be located
from a property line.
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Rich-
mond City Plan Commission the o7(,�'� day of J Jq�X_,
1985, at which time remonstrances were heard from
all parties interested in or affected by this Ordi-
nance; and,
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was

the recommending the passage of Ordinance No. 16-
1985.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 2518-1971 is hereby amended
by authorizing the construction of an additional
building within the approved Commercial Development
Unit Project.
SECTION 2. That the Site Plan accompanying the petition re-
questing the Ordinance amendment shall be designated
as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as a
part of this Ordinance. The dimension and use of
the subject building shall be that indicated on said
Exhibit "A".
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Article 45.051 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the
required distance the subject building may be
located from the property line is hereby modified
from fifty (50) feet to nine and one-half (9�)
feet.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as by law
required.
